Le Pergole Torte

Montevertine is a magnificent Domain with 18 ha of vineyards in the Chianti region in Radda, between Florence and Sienna. 

Since the death of Sergio Manetti, the Domain’s founder, his son Martino has taken over the management, continuing his father’s work using the same traditional techniques and the same eternal quest for excellence. The vines are cultivated according to biodynamic principles.

Montevertine produces wines of great depth with great cellaring potential, reputed to be among the best Sangiovese to be found in Tuscany - especially the famous Pergole Torte, a product of the Domain’s very best vineyards aged in oak casks from the Allier.
