The vineyard that produces this cru, known to wine enthusiasts as Bandol bio, covers just fifteen hectares in the commune of Sainte-Anne d’Évenos. Since the 1970s the site has pioneered work into organic wine-growing practices, and natural vinification techniques in Provence.
The “Collection” cuvées are almost exclusively produced from Mourvèdre grapes (Bandol is not authorised to use more than 95%).
These are powerful, sophisticated wines that evoke the aroma of the garrigue with a slightly animalic touch.
