Elegant, harmonious with exceptional ageing ability in the best vintages... Owned by the Borie family since 1941 and 2e “Grand Cru Classé” in the Medoc region. The grapes are hand-picked and vinified plot-by-plot, after which the wine is aged for 18 months. The care that goes into managing the 75-hectare vineyard, the presence of the Gironde estuary that acts as a giant air conditioner and a judicious assembly of 1/3 Merlot and 2/3 Cabernet Sauvignon all combine to product an excellent red wine that perfectly embodies the finesse of the appellation Saint-Julien.
