2016 - Tradition, IGP Mediterranée
Quantity limited to 6 product(s) per order.
Located at the foot of Mount Sainte-Victoire in Puyloubier in a natural setting of warm-coloured red soils, the Domaine Richeaume is one of the flagship winegrowing businesses in Aix-en-Provence. The vineyard, cultivated according to organic principles, was planted entirely by its founding owner, Henning Hoesch, a former professor of history at Yale University. Today, Henning and Sylvain Hoesch produce powerful, full-bodied wines that are robust and warm on the palate with a vivid intensity and wonderfully rich velvety texture. The great Richeaume cuvées, aged in new oak barrels, should be cellared for at least five to six years. 2016 vintage: a well-balanced red wine with an exceptional fruity aroma. It is soft and fruity on the palate with firm, slightly spicy tannins, notes of mild tobacco and an exceptionally long finish. A real treat!
